Go Get Garlic
So the other day I cooked for my friends and I used garlic in one of the side dishes. Well, what you'll learn about me is that I find out what certain herbs and spices are good for and use it, a lot. At any time that you may find me cooking, know that I am using garlic, all the time. She went on to tell me that she could taste it significantly, but I guess I've gotten so used to it that I don't even realize the taste of it in my food, or other foods for that matter.
Lets discuss a bit of why I love garlic and why you should too.
Garlic derives from the species in the onion genus, making it related to onions, shallot, leek, chive, and the Chinese onion. It has been used for over centuries in Chinese traditional medicine for its incredible healing properties. It an excellent source of manganese and vitamin B6, also a good source of vitamin C, copper, selenium, phosphorus, vitamin B1, and calcium. Uhm, YEAH!
Ancient Chinese healers used it to help those with digestive problems, breathing problems such as asthma, and during parasitic cleanses. Garlic lowers your blood pressure, detoxes the body, helps you lose weight, fights colds, prevents acne, increases libido, prevent cancer cells, increase immunity, and soooo much more.
Go Get you some Garlic healing. Trust me you'll thank me later.
